The Megger PCITS 600 is built into a tough moulded plastic casing, with carrying handles, and has a protective cover over the terminal panal.

The terminal panal contains the range switch, power supply switch, output terminals and time counter terminals. The test set is operated from a seperate hand-held controller linked to the main unit by an expandable coiled lead.

The fully variable, current outputs are:
0 - 600A at 0 - 4V a.c.
0 - 300A at 0 - 8V a.c.

The test set has magnetic circuit breakers, fuse and thermal protection. The hand-held controller has grip pads whereby it may be fixed in place on the main unit of the test set.
